Family activities
Sign up to Guildhall Art Gallery's Monthly Family Newsletter to receive information on family-friendly events and activities at Guildhall Art Gallery and London's Roman Amphitheatre. The Gallery hosts a regular programme of family activities on the Second Saturday of every month, and special events during school holidays.
The Gallery also provides free family friendly guides for their special exhibitions, and family bags are available to collect at the front desk to help families engage with the collection during their visit.
Second Saturday
Guildhall Art Gallery runs themed family events on the Second Saturday of every month. A revolving programme of family activities may have you heading into the Roman Amphitheatre and hearing tales of Roman conquests or creating crafts from the Victorian paintings surrounding you.
A story corner with soft cushions, costumes, and building bricks will also be available.
All activities are free, but visitors are encouraged to book a ticket in advance. Check upcoming dates and book your place online.
School Holiday Family Days
During School Holidays, Guildhall Art Gallery runs larger family events which often take over multiple spaces across the Gallery and London’s Roman Amphitheatre, and may even extend to other culture and heritage sites across the City.
