Fleet Street Area Programme

The Fleet Street area is currently undergoing a significant transformation. A number of large-scale and flagship developments are due to be completed in the coming years, with several new developments due to be completed between 2026-2030. With the expected increase in people working, living and visiting the area, the City Corporation is investing in and working to enhance the public realm along Fleet Street and within the wider Fleet Street area. 

Our main objective is to create welcoming and accessible environment for people who walk and wheel, enhance cycle provisions and safety, and support local businesses. The City Corporation is delivering a number of public realm enhancement schemes within the area, with Transforming Fleet Street acting as a primary catalyst in the regeneration of Fleet Street.
