Booking for swimming

  • Bookings operate during the summer period only, usually from late May/early June to early September. Drop-in sessions operate year round and can be found here: Swimming Opening Times
  • Outside the summer booking season, tickets are available on arrival only.
  • Bookings are made through our online booking system.
  • Carers accompanying a disabled swimmer do not need to book and will be admitted when attending with the swimmer.
  • Bookings are released daily at 8pm for sessions up to 7 days in advance.
  • Sessions become very busy during warm weather and advanced booking is recommended.
  • Booking limits apply and group bookings are not available.
  • Sales or bookings in advance of the online ticket release are not available.
  • Bookings cannot be made by email.
  • During bookable periods, tickets may still be available on arrival, depending on capacity at the time.

Refunds and Cancellations

  1. Online bookings are for a specific session, date, time, and venue and are subject to availability.
  2. Holding a Season Ticket does not give priority or additional booking rights.
  3. You can book tickets for yourself and for others, including people who do not have an online account.
  4. Entry to a booked session is via a QR code or digital ticket generated by the booking system.
  5. Swimmers will be admitted no later than 10 minutes before the end of a Bathing Ponds session and no later than 30 minutes before the end of a Lido session. Late arrival does not entitle swimmers to additional time in the water.
  6. Bookings may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the session start time for a refund less cancellation fees. No refunds are given for no‑shows or for weather‑related interruptions, except where the venue closes entirely for the day. See the Swimming tickets page for further information.
