Small Society Lotteries (non-commercial)
The Gambling Act 2005 requires non-commercial societies whose principal office is situated within The City of London to be registered with us if they wish to run small society lotteries.
Registrations are for an unlimited period, unless the registration is cancelled by the Society or the Licensing Authority. Registrations are subject to the payment of an initial £40.00 application fee and a £20.00 annual fee.

Lottery returns should returned within three months of the lottery draw taking place, a society must submit a statutory return of the lottery to us by email.
You may be able to run your lottery without a licence. Please see the Gambling Commission's website for further information.
