Queen's Park Children's Farm

Nestled within the serene environment of Queen's Park, the Queen's Park Children's Farm offers visitors a delightful opportunity to connect with nature and animals. Established in the1990s, this charming farm has become a cherished feature of the Park, providing educational and recreational experiences for visitors of all ages.

Animal Residents

The farm is home to a variety of friendly animals, including:

• Pygmy Goats
• Ouessant Sheep
• Ducks
• Quails
• Chickens

We kindly ask visitors not to feed the animals. They are given a carefully balanced diet to keep them healthy and happy, and any additional food may make them unwell. Thank you for your understanding.

Opening Times

As of start of May 2026, the Farm will not be open at regular times due to two of our goats falling seriously ill after eating something harmful. 

Thankfully, they have both responded well to treatment and are now on the road to recovery.

While the exact cause is unknown, we are aware of an increase in visitors feeding animals and engaging in other unsafe behaviour, such as entering enclosures or handling animals. Feeding animals, even with food that seems harmless, can cause serious harm.

To protect the welfare of our animals, the Farm will temporarily only be open when staff are present. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we prioritise the health and safety of our animals.
