Hampstead Heath accessibility

Here you’ll find information to assist you in planning your visit to Hampstead Heath if you have a disability or need extra support to enjoy our green spaces.

Disabled access

The Heath has:

• Disabled toilets at five locations around the Heath, including Parliament Hill and Golders Hill Park - more information below. 
• Dedicated disabled parking bays at each of our four car parks
  
  • Parliament Hill Lido Car Park
  • East Heath Car Park
  • Jack Straws Car Park
  • Golders Hill Park Car Park
• A large number of surfaced paths suitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters
• Mobility scooters are available Mondays to Saturdays between 9.30am and 5pm free of charge from the Parliament Hill Lido or the Hive
  • Bookings are managed by Heath Hands
  • Users may make one booking at a time.
• An accessible route, starting and ending at Gospel Oak station, can be found on this interactive map.

Heath Hands works to give everyone the chance to get involved in activities on the Heath, delivering a range for free activities for people of all backgrounds throughout the year.
