Together We Can Borrow More and Waste Less
Library of Things is a place where you can borrow useful things for your home, projects and adventures.
Why borrowing is better than buying:
- It's more affordable
- Cuts down on clutter
- Access same-day bookings
- Meet your neighbours, get involved in your community, or even learn a new skill
- Sharing the things you won't use often is a simple action we can take to reduce waste and support a more sustainable way of living
Library of Things has already helped Londoners collectively save £6.5 million and prevent almost 300 tonnes of waste from going to landfill across its existing London locations.
A 25% concession rate is available to anyone who would find it useful - no questions asked.
How it Works
- Join online and reserve the item you need
- Collect it from the self-service lockers in the Barbican Library
