You can donate:
- Clothes (any kind, all styles)
- Shoes (paired)
- Accessories (scarves, gloves, hats, bags, belts, jewellery etc)
- Sheets and household linen (curtains, towels, bed sheets etc)
You cannot donate:
- No duvets or pillows
- No overly damaged and/or soiled clothes
Clothes and textiles in good condition will be donated and sold for re-use in TRAID's charity shops in London. The funds raised go towards supporting global projects to improve the fashion industry. Take a look at current projects they've committed to fund.
Items that aren’t suitable for donations can be recycled and made into new items, such as padding for chairs and car seats or industrial blankets.
This means your unloved clothes will have a second chance in a new home.
Book a free home collection
Our partner charity TRAID offers a free home collection service for unwanted clothes. You might choose this option if you’ve recently had a clear out or have a large number of unwanted clothes to donate. You will be able to schedule your home collection for a time that suits you.
Give and Take Days
Clothes, shoes, textiles and accessories can also be donated at our Give and Take Days that are held throughout the year. These events give people the chance to donate their unwanted items, which can then be taken by event attendees later in the day. Head to the Recycling Events page to find out when the next Give and Take Day is.
