Electrical and textiles car park recycling points
As part of the City of London’s continued commitment to sustainability and reducing waste, new electrical and textile recycling points have been introduced at Minories car parks.
These dedicated facilities provide convenient drop-off locations for small electrical items and unwanted textiles, making it easier for residents, workers, and visitors to recycle responsibly.
-
Electrical items will be collected and processed by ERP UK (European Recycling Platform), ensuring proper treatment and recovery of valuable materials.
-
Textiles, including clothing, shoes, and household fabrics (not including duvets and cushions), will be collected by TRAID, supporting both environmental goals and charitable work.
By offering these services, the City aims to salvage reusable and recyclable materials - extending their life cycle, while supporting a more circular and sustainable economy.
We encourage everyone using the car parks or living nearby to take advantage of these new recycling points and join us in promoting responsible waste management across the Square Mile.
