The London Wall/Moorgate Oval Re-landscaping project is part of the City of London Corporation's Cool Streets and Greening Programme, which seeks to enhance green spaces and introduce climate resilient planting.
The re-landscaping improvements delivered a range of benefits through enhancing biodiversity and climate resilience, with the introduction of multi-stem trees and additional planting, protecting the existing mature oak tree, introducing a new pathway leading to Moorgate station, and introducing additional seating for people rest and enjoy the space.
Works at the Oval commenced in winter 2024 and are now complete.
